Scheduled to open to residents in 2015, the Grand Hyatt Residences Manila will be the Philippine capital’s third for-sale branded residential project, joining Shangri-La and Raffles. The new project is located in Manila’s Fort Bonifacio Global City development, being developed through a joint venture of property developer Federal Land Inc. and Japanese financial services group ORIX Corporation. The third Grand Hyatt Residences in the works will join like properties in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and Baha Mar in the Bahamas.
The two-tower development will include a 438-room Grand Hyatt Hotel on the top 14 floors of a 66-story tower that will also include upscale office space. 220 residences will be located in a separate tower while offering access to the hotel’s extensive amenities, including a spa, fitness center, and restaurant. The new property will also feature a trellis-covered outdoor lounge, adult and childrens pools, a game room, yoga/pilates room, and children’s playroom compliment a business center and event space.
In addition to access to the hotel amenities, residents will enjoy privileges of concierge, bell service and valet, 24-hour security, porter service, as well as a host of a la carte services including room service, housekeeping, laundry services, travel arrangements, flowers. The complex represents the centerpiece of the master planned Veritown Fort development, which will include 11 residential buildings and extensive shopping and dining options, as well as sprawling green parks. Facing 7th and 8th Avenues, the hotel and residences will provide convenient access to Kalayaan Avenue and the business and residential district of Makati. Additionally, guests and residents alike will be in close proximity to the many restaurants and retail outlets located in High Street, Serendra, Burgos Circle, the Fort Square, and Fort Strip, as well as the Ayala Land’s Market! Market! shopping center.
Architects Wong + Ouyang, have planned 220 residences from the 7th to the 45th floors of the tower, ranging from two-bedroom homes of 103 square meters to a five-bedroom penthouse of 407 square meters. Each is finished with polished marble or natural stone floors, and kitchens feature high-end Gaggenau appliances.
With construction well underway, Grand Hyatt Residences Manila is further proof that Manila is proving to be an important hub for the luxury branded residential segment in Southeast Asia.
