Global hotel brand Rosewood Hotels & Resorts has opened its latest “ultra-luxury” five-star hotel in the prestigious city of Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates. The project is the first Rosewood-branded property to open in the Emirates, and joins three properties currently operating in Saudi Arabia. Rosewood Hotels & Resorts has been growing its portfolio extensively outside of its origins in North America, and also has new residences for sale in Indonesia, Thailand and the Bahamas.

Located on All Maryah Island in Abu Dhabi’s Central Business District, Rosewood Abu Dhabi is part of the prestigious Sowwah Square area. Nearby the Cleveland Clinic and the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange, the area will include a second hotel, four “Grade A” office towers, and The Galleria at Sowwah Square, a luxury fashion and dining district connecting the entire mixed-use development to the waterfront.

The new 34-story tower includes 189 guest rooms and suites, and a mix of one-, two- and three-bedroom serviced apartments ranging from 119 to 251 square meters (1280 to 2702 square feet). The apartments themselves includes furnished and unfurnished options that can be rented for short or long terms. Those offered fully-serviced and furnished are well-equipped, with stylish contemporary design complimented by hand-blown chandeliers from the Czech Republic, contemporary design and Middle Eastern artwork – in line with the luxury brand’s “Sense of  Place” philosiphy.

On property, residents will have access to a host of services and amenities, including a selection of nine restaurants and lounges, as well as in-room dining services, spa, fitness center, outdoor pool, housekeeping and concierge services. The hotel’s events and conference facilities can accomodate events for over 1,000 guests. Befitting Rosewood’s ethos oftreating team members like “internal guests”, the property’s 300 team members will be outfitted in tailored uniforms by Italian designer Domenico Vacca.

Rosewood Hotel & Residences Abu Dhabi will also play host to nine remarkable and distinct restaurants and lounges. Under Executive Chef Wolfgang Eberle, the property will offer a mix of delectable cuisines, including Catalan, Lebanese, Mediterranean and Pan-Indian, in addition to a shisha terrace, grape cellar, cigar room, glamorous “Glo” bar, an intimate “hidden”, and lobby lounge.

Those guests looking for luxury serviced apartments in the emirate are lucky to have Rosewood Abu Dhabi as an option. Offering a prime location with well-dressed staff, a variety of restaurants, and stunning interiors, we can understand that a one-night stay would never be enough!
