In February 2013, exceeded its goal of 10,000 visitors to the new hotel-branded property website, launched on January 1 of this year, roughly doubling the traffic since its inaugural month. “Our team is thrilled to have built on our initial successes and doubling our site traffic in our second month,” stated Dan August Cordeiro, Founder of

The traffic itself is well distributed around 146 countries, with no more than 30% of the website’s traffic derived from any one country, although the United States, India and China were each among the top three source markets. Europe represented nearly 20% of all traffic.

New York, Florida and California are the top three searched locations for properties, further evidence that these markets are well past their market “bottom” and attracting the attention of a global audience.

Top lifestyles included beach, mountain and city properties, while the top-searched hotel brands included the luxurious Ritz-Carlton and Four Seasons brands and Starwood Hotels & Resorts’ hip W brand, indicating that younger consumers are also interested in hotel-branded residential properties.

This month’s top viewed development was Palazzo Tornabuoni, managed by Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts in Florence, Italy, which is a remarkably restored 15th century palace, while the individual listing for sale that was most clicked through to was a $2.3 million two-bedroom residence at The Setai Miami Beach.
