Last Saturday, The Ritz-Carlton Residences Lake Tahoe revealed their newest model residence designed by San Francisco-based Jay Jeffers – a stunning $5 million penthouse. Penthouse 650 sprawls out over 3,407 square foot on two levels, with four bedrooms, three and half baths, an office and a home theater. Guests to Saturday’s unveiling were greeted by hosts and sales team, Don Carr and Tori Long and welcomed into a dramatic double height Great Room with views of snow-covered Northstar Mountain and the hotel’s heated pool and hot tubs.
Since launching in February of this year, the Ritz-Carlton Residences commissioned Jeffers to design three penthouse models. According to Jay, his “design for the penthouses brings a cosmopolitan style to the mountains, marrying the urbane and the organic in a look we like to call, ‘California Mountain.’ The spaces feature a cool gray palette as the backdrop for furnishings that marry industrial and natural materials, and all design elements are tailored to the Tahoe ski-in lifestyle - they are cool, comfortable and never high-maintenance.”
The Ritz-Carlton Residences Lake Tahoe offers 1,554 to 3,407 square foot whole ownership residences priced from $1,250,000 located on the third and sixth floors of the hotel. The luxurious penthouse 650 is just waiting for guests to entertain after a long day on the mountain with its own walk-in wine cellar, open kitchen and five separate terraces.
With 17 of the 23 whole ownership residences sold, this is one of the largest remaining, and the priciest. Previously listed at $4.5 million, the price has been increased with the new designer furnishings.
Residents of the Ritz-Carlton Lake Tahoe enjoy a host of services, including Pre-Arrival Concierge Service, Ski Valet Services, In-Residence Dining, a Special Kids Program and a Two-year Membership in Tahoe Mountain Club − Offering Two Championship Golf Courses, Private Mid-Mountain Dining at Schaffer’s Camp, Members Lounge in The Village at Alpine Club, and The Pavilion at Old Greenwood’s Swim and Tennis Facilities. In addition, owners have access to the hotel’s 17,000 square foot spa and fitness center with 16 treatment rooms, ladies’ and gentlemen’s lounge areas with sauna, steam and whirlpool, two outdoor swimming pools, state-of-the-art weight training and cardiovascular equipment and a variety of exercise classes.
The Ritz-Carlton Residences Lake Tahoe are undebatably spectacular and its penthouse stunning. And with flights from San Francisco taking around half an hour, they may well be irresistable.
