The W Hollywood Residences celebrated the unveiling of their Penthouse residences last Thursday. The Penthouses occupy one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments on the top three floors of the building and are afforded panoramic views from both giant windows and expansive outdoor terraces.
A fabulous and chic party celebrated the seven new model residences, each featuring distinct design elements. A creative crowd mingled between tours of the residences and enjoying the remarkable views from the numerous terraces and the warm early spring breezes.
The distinctive penthouses included an urban sanctuary theme by Ken Griggs of Room & Board, an elegant and glamorous Italian design from Poliform, a 1960s Malibu-inspired “boho chic” look by Smith Firestone Associates, an eclectic mix of European textures from Amy Hall of AHD Design, a high-contrast modern residence by Cantoni Design Studio, a hip, playful look from Christopher Grubb of Arch Interiors, and an eco-friendly option from a team of Van Patter Design, NL Consulting and Kellygreen Home. (After all, the building is LEED Silver Certified).
Located at Hollywood and Vine, the W Hollywood Residences are adjacent to the W Hotel, and feature a private lobby with dedicated valet parking, doormen, concierge, fitness center and screening room. The highlight of the offering is the residents-only roof terrace complete with swimming pool and cabanas, dog park, fitness center and outdoor kitchen and dining areas. As an added perk, owners receive a 3-year Platinum membership in the Starwood Preferred Guests loyalty program.
Throughout the Penthouse floors, the designers exemplified the residences’ flexibility, light and spaciousness. Many left the stunning Hollywood views through floor-to-ceiling windows serve as the artwork or inspiration for the designs. After all, in a penthouse like those at W Hollywood, you are not just one of the City of Angels, but you are one of its bright shining stars!
